The Coffee Table

This is a now page. I’ve called it The Coffee Table because growing up, when my parents had guests around for a catch-up, they would sit around the coffee table and chat about what was happening ‘now’. I also find it’s the place in the house where the things that are most relevant to ‘now’ accumulate.

• We’ve been in Copenhagen for nearly two months.
• Our little boy has started daycare and is loving it
• Have started to POSSE at Instagram and am experimenting with LinkedIn as well.
• My wife and I are expecting our second child. He’s due at the end of August.

Copenhagen Marathon

• Only a few weeks to go until the Copenhagen Marathon on the 10th of May. Training has been nice and consistent.

• Most notably this website after moving from BearBlog
• But also Lychee Photo Management

Professional

• Polished my Research webpage.

At the Bench

• In the process of shipping samples from Melbourne so I can perform validation experiments on them using tools here in Copenhagen that I didn’t have access to in Melbourne.
• About to start a project using cultured muscle cells to test said tools.

At the Computer

• Ongoing analysis of data collected from my human and mouse projects that were conducted in Melbourne.
• In the early stages of a bioinformatics project that I hope will nicely compliment my wet lab work.
